SDWG Roundtable on Cross Cutting PressuresCopenhagen, Denmark 01-02 March 2009

Within the context of the SDWG Strategic Planning process, a roundtable will be held on March 1-2, 2009 in Copenhagen, Denmark on cross-cutting pressures relating to the increased requirement for statistical data sets and social measures in the work of the Arctic Council .
To this end, the roundtable will:
1) explore capacity needs to respond to those requirements,
2) consider structural models (e.g. establishing expert groups, hosting workshops, engaging specialists on ad hoc on a project by project basis).
3) assess the scope of the social science requirements with other Working Groups
